Continuing Education and Training for Rehabilitation Professionals

The mission of the continuing education program is to disseminate information on contemporary approaches and best practices regarding the care of individuals with disability or potentially disabling disorders.  We serve our own care providers and target the greater Mississippi healthcare community.

We strive to provide timely and goal-oriented educational activities that directly impact the quality of medical rehabilitation services available to the disabled.  Many education programs in the medical rehabilitation setting are directed at a multidisciplinary professional audience.  As appropriate, programs will be designed to meet the continuing education needs of diverse professionals and promote the team approach that enhances the quality of care provided to the patients we serve.  In collaboration with the neurorehabilitation research team at MRC our goals as a continuing education provider are to:

• Bring emerging knowledge to the point of clinical use
• Enhance clinical practice and skills for the benefit of those we serve
• Promote best practice standards across medical rehabilitation disciplines
